John Yianni Stamas is a digital marketer, educator and artist advocate who is known primarily for either directing or having as clients, actors who have won Oscars, Emmys, Golden Globes, Tonys and Platinum PIAs.
John ran a successful communications business for performing artists in New York City for 12 years from 2001 to 2013 (overlapping the creation of Lights Camera Read) with clients including the New York Public Library, the NYC Department of Education, the Film Society of Lincoln Center, Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts and recognizable actors from stage and screen.
John got his start as an assistant for three years to the late August Coppola (Nicolas Cage’s father) at Zoetrope Studios headed by Francis Coppola.
John has a B.A. in Entrepreneurship, Digital Media and Filmmaking and is currently pursuing a Masters in Arts Administration. He lives in New York City with his wife and daughter.
